At Minhang TangwanMigrant School, Shanghai Roots & Shoots KidStrong Program once again
launched its ‘Little Tooth Guardians’ children's dental health education initiative. Continuing our innovative ‘children influencing children’ model, twelve professionally trained ‘Little Tooth Guardians’ took centre stage to deliver an engaging dental knowledge session for their peers. When children become the protagonists of the classroom, education's magic quietly unfolds.
At eachtraining session, we couldn't help but wonder: could these ten-year-olds truly
handle the task of presenting? Yet time andagain, they surprised us with their actions—perhaps this is the unique energy and potential inherent in children.
In theclassroom, the initially solemn atmosphere transformed into a relaxed and lively one under the young tutors' guidance. Through engaging activities, everyone learned dental care knowledge and mastered proper brushing techniques. This peer-to-peer exchange conveys health concepts naturally, making education both authentic and impactful.
