Hona Organic: Eat a bite of bread, plant a tree, and fight desertification together.
True organic is about natural balance. This has been the brand spirit that Hona Organic has upheld for 23 years. In 2017, He Ran Organic joined Shanghai Roots & Shoots' The Million Tree Project. Now in its ninth year, the company has planted over 41,000 shrubs on the Maowusu sandy land of Ningxia.
B.Braun: Sowing Green Ideas, Focusing on Sustainable Development Education
Shanghai Roots & Shoots has partnered with B. Braun for over 15 years to focus on sustainable development education for young people. B. Braun has organized enthusiastic and energetic young employees within the company to serve as Green Mentor Volunteers for the YES Program. These volunteers bring knowledge-rich and creative "Green Class" to students in schools.
Kraft Heinz: Supporting the Green Leadership Trainings and Zero Waste Campus Initiative
In the 2024-2025 academic year, Shanghai Roots & Shoots, in partnership with Kraft Heinz Group, conducted three sessions of "Green Leadership" trainings, themed "Zero Waste Campus." These training sessions, stepping from the basics to the advanced, guided students through understanding how to build a zero-waste campus, developing and mastering research, analysis, and project planning skills, and designing zero-waste campus initiatives.

"Roots & Shoots Day" is an annual gathering of Shanghai Roots & Shoots and its youth volunteers. Since 2002, "Roots & Shoots Day" has become a commemoration of Roots & Shoots members who "passionately support public welfare and care about the environment." It has evolved from a simple meet-and-greet into a themed market that brings together public welfare forces from all walks of life and showcases the spirit of public welfare.
