The year 2025 marks the 44th anniversary of China’s National Voluntary Tree Planting Campaign, and March 12 is the 47th Chinese Tree Planting Day. Led by Bangliang Gibbon National Nature Reserve, Shanghai Roots & Shoots provided 200 saplings and joined hands with Bangliang Village Committee and Renzhuang Border Police Station to plant trees for the Cao Vit Gibbons!
Did you know? The Bangliang Reserve is the crucial habitat for the endangered Cao Vit Gibbon. Planting trees here is not only about ecological restoration but also about protecting these precious “forest elves.”
